To continue the saga...

I really had to reel myself in earlier, it's hard to greet and welcome someone whose first words are 'you need a new UI, and your userguide is rubbish'. But I tried. I was polite at least. But must admit I did point out that we LIKE it the way it is here, that it works just fine and that, just perhaps, if they gave it a bit of time, they might come to love it too.

Admittedly, it wasn't my usual warm welcome. I shall try to do better in the future! 😎

@LnzyHou Don't tempt me. I have some great lines stored up! But it's less stressful all round to mute really. I've been here a short time but honestly do feel very protective of what J and everyone has built here and it's hard to let it just go by without any comment. Between us, we shall murder the mute button! xx

Maybe it's just me, but I never mute. If I get to that level of aggravation and irritation, I just BLOCK. I about wore out the Block button on and

Almost 16K blocks by the time I deactivated.

Not a big mute person either.

@LnzyHou @IrisDallen I have never looked at my number over there but it was high. I received so many threats via dm too. Also on FB, all connected to far right activity. Neither platform would act, the local police DID act fortunately. But it was so unpleasant and stressful. So then I just blocked with gay abandon!
