Again in the UK, we also have planned power cuts due in January, 4 - 7pm (not sure how many days per week yet) due to the horrific mismanagement by the Tory Government, this is to 'save energy'. Therefore, I've had to get a small camping stove etc. But there will be no lighting, no heating, nothing, during that time. I have an emergency medical alarm which also will not work. It's just a farce. (I bought a tiny generator in case batteries fail on the alarm.
@JohnMeadows Spot on. Neither will any of the politicians! It's so preposterous.
@Florence I'm willing to bet none of the Royals will have to bundle up...
