There honestly is a difference between arriving at a new place and joining in, sitting back, making friends and THEN making suggestions about things you might like to see here and arriving, complaining, and then leaving.
It's a big culture change from the bird, I understand that, I've done it myself, but honestly, just settle back, get a coffee, look at the firehose and if you see anything that interests you, join in!

@Florence Well, as a new guy here, I think CS should have an option for making my feet warmer on cold mornings. Also, if there was a column comprising famous comics and cartoonists dedicated to the sole mission of getting me some relief from the news, that would be great.
