@FinnegansWhacked I think it was Rommel (yes, I know he worked for the bad guys), who said that there were two axes: Smart and Stupid, and Lazy and Ambitious.
You could give stupid and lazy something simple to do - clean latrines, peel potatoes. The smart and ambitious, you wanted on your staff. The smart and _lazy_ you would put in charge of your staff, but the stupid and ambitious, the only thing to do was get them as far from you as possible.
Trump is stupid and ambitious.
