@nursefrombirth as I was pondering the atrocities committed last week beginning with hundreds of young people at a music festival, I was imagining how none of the violence that was about to occur to them was not on their radar, at all. Nor should it have been. In all acts of mass murder, there seems to be a persistent aspiration to make the next atrocity so big and horrendous, that it can create it's own momentum to an end most sane people cannot see. Humanity may win, but it is always at risk
