I do think we don’t understand enough about aging & capacity. When you’re older, your response time is slower. That doesn’t mean you can’t reason or remember a vast wealth of acquired information and derived wisdom. You don’t build muscles as well - so what? The most important one is between your ears. Finally, the best predictor of longevity is your parents’ age at death. Didn’t Biden’s mom live till 102 or something?
