@Minholkin @Feathered_Friend It really evoked memories of my mother too. Sometimes I see or hear something during the day that I know she'd enjoy, and I think I must call her. And then remember that I can't. That always hits me hard.
Yes...despite the time, my heart forgets that she's not just on vacation somewhere
