@Feathered_Friend it is more likely a Thanksgiving cactus (they aren't actually cactus. they're succulents)

@Feathered_Friend i can usually get mine to rebloom in the spring. i kick them outside over the summer. they prefer being a bit potbound too. my oldest is only about 40 years
@redenigma 40 years! It currently lives in a busier room where it gets a lot of ambient light at night. I wonder if I can induce more blooms if I move it elsewhere...
@Feathered_Friend mine are under plant lights from 10am to 1am... they bloom. if i want 2nd bloom i'd move them across the room where they get indirect light for a couple weeks
