Turned on
MorningEdition
because the stuff really is important. I tried to think of another source, a reliable one. But here I was and as usual,
NPR
disgraced itself.

NinaTotenberg
is more concerned about a FOUR times verified leak of a draft than she is the content. WTF

By focusing on the exact nature of the content of the leak NinaTotenberg
gas lights the audience (and probably herself) into thinking that leaks are unusual. Leaks are not. The document itself may be.

NT also claims to be surprised throughout the interview suggesting that the "bomb" is the decision, not the leak. But in the end it becomes clear that the dismantling of women's rights (and eventually the Federal Government, the real goal) isn't noteworthy, some unwritten rule is.

Once again the media and the press has failed us. We're losing democracy and
NT is concerned about an unwritten rule by a court made up of men with a history of sexual assault who were appointed by Presidents and Senates who did not win a majority of the votes. 😑

@philipcardella I'd say it isn't the "media" writ large-it's all owned by the 1%ers. They're only going to tell you what they want you to hear. This goes back much further. It's $$ & access to the ppl who decide on the laws. Want a real eye-opener, check out American Legislative Exchange Council-ALEC; Lobbyists actually write many of our laws.
