Now I understand that philanthropy is a big part of American Culture and charity galas and auctions are ways of been seen to make a difference. Programs like Undercover Boss, show that a few lucky people can have their lives transformed from being in the right place at the right time.
How many other ways are there to change workplace practices?
@FayreLylith You have done it 3 times before, but as a European account holder, I dont get the vibe on the street in the same way as those who are there and can vote for direction of the States
@Mauve_matelot True...obviously we haven't gotten it figured out yet..we're in a boat similar to the one the UK is in...decades of 'lesser evil" has gotten us nowhere.
I don't have any real suggestions, but I'm reminded of Matthew 6:1-2.
“Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of people in order to be noticed by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in Heaven .
So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full."
