I have not been on here in a long time. I find it almost too much to communicate anymore.

☕ 'mornin, nauts.

Chin up.

be safe • be brave • be kind

I haven't been on here for almost a month. All I will say at this moment is that you if you would not play on the freeway, you would not go anywhere right now without a mask.

Omicron Covid booster acquired. Now to sleep it off.

@Devharryc: I told someone at work about how during economic downturns they’d pay someone at Lexmark to take out every other lightbulb from the light fixtures in the corporate offices.

I could not convince him this was a true story.

Y'all... after a year of mental health issues and other obstacles, and then months of worrying I wouldn't be ready to take anything new on- I am officially enrolled in my first Vet Tech course in January.

@cozmikstar108 I need to go to bed but I will have to find it and watch.

I’m not the black sheep in my family, I’m the tie-dyed one. 🐑🌈

I just realized that most of my better angels have gone to a cabin in the woods without me.

CoSo is at its best when people are warm and not judgmental. Maybe I'll work on the next experiment and come back in a bit.

A RN friend of mine pointed out that the left side of Mitch’s face seems to droop more than it used to and that he might have had a stroke. I have looked at older and newer photos and think they might be on to something.

Look, I get it: it's easy to downplay the relevance of antisemitism because it only targets a small minority (especially if you avoid thinking about how it got that small).

In contrast, racism targets a quarter of the country and misogyny targets half. They matter more, right?

Not exactly. Thing is, antisemitism never travels alone, and it's a powerful indicator of severe bigotry.

In the end, all bigotry is wrong, so make no exceptions.

I voted today.
I voted to preserve American democracy.
I voted for the bodily autonomy of my wife, daughter, sister, cousins, nieces.
I voted for our planet.
I voted for truth over propagandistic lies.
I voted for forward progress not for regression and repression.
I voted today.

Gratitude list is needing all of my creativity today.

This past weekend, Mark Finchem, the Republican candidate for secretary of state in Arizona, took precious time away from campaigning to fly to Florida to participate in a conference of 2020 election denialists and conspiracy theory extremists. His attendance was hardly surprising.
