it's rather devastating to find that a friend passed away mid-November, and not ONE of our mutual friends informed me. I learned of it through a FB post two days ago, and the actual date via her FB page. Yeah, cancer sux. (I survived) but ya know what else sux? "friends" who say "but I thought you knew" and those that act like I didn't' know her at all. At least I know no one will miss me when I pass on. Except my blood family. ๐Ÿ˜  โšฐ๏ธ

@Exitpass people do strange things when grieving. They have trouble moderating things and thinking of others.

If you were distant FB friends but did not see the death post, blame the stupid algorithm that does that. I think you are displacing your grief. But I don't know your friends.

And, I'm sorry for your loss.
