J.D. Vance just told the NYT it’s the Republican party’s plan to prohibit women & girls from traveling across state lines w/o first taking a pregnancy test. Can’t believe we’re having these sorts of conversations in 2024 ffs!! VOTE Ladies, they plan to control where we travel.

@EvilBunny The GOP is actually using the Handmaid's Tale as a real life guide 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️
Not only do we have to get Kamala in the White House, we also have to put as many Democrats in every office as possible down to the lowest office.
These emasculated woman hating freaks have to be stopped.

@Liliki @EvilBunny

I doubt :Asshat: has ever read a book... but we have... he's been working from George Orwell's visions from 1984 and Animal Farm. Then he decided to force feed The Handmaid's Tale to our country.

He should have gone with Dr. Seuss... he & his magas & the GOP could have learned a lot from those stories.

@QueenOfEverything @EvilBunny
But jd vance has, that's why he's dangerous: if trump wins jd vance will invoke the 25th amendment asap and then we'll have a young, cognitively sound, educated fascist as president to implement project 2025.

@Liliki @EvilBunny

Yes, saw that coming... trump didn't pick JD Vance... he was told he would be the VP.

Project 2025 is the smog polluting shadow organization that's been pulling puppet strings for quite awhile.

@EvilBunny I really hope they lose. If not...

Guess we'll have to look at making monoclonal anti-hCG antibodies.

Get the dosage right, & for the next little while pregnancy tests won't work worth sh*t. I don't anticipate there'd be many side effects, either, because of how selective antibodies [aka immunoglobulins] are.

Pregnancy tests actually test for a hormone called hCG... and if that hCG has been sequestered by [in this case exogenous] antibodies, the tests will no longer recognize it.

@EvilBunny In practice, monoclonal anti-hCG antibodies would be usable as an injection that causes false negatives on pregnancy tests for a while.

Eventually the effect would wear off, but by that time presumably you'd be past the checkpoint and thus in the clear.

And contrary to what you might think, it doesn't have to be very expensive. Once you've modified bacteria/yeast to efficiently produce a target molecule (eg an immunoglobulin), it's relatively trivial to make large quantities of it.

@EvilBunny my heart hurts for our daughters.. I’ve said it before but say it again.
