The more we go along the more glaringly obvious that whole “marvel can’t legally recast FoX-Men until 2025” rumour is 100% true and they’re just trying to make the most of it without wrecking the potential of the X-Men in the MCU proper
@Eric_The_Great7 Well, keeping Hugh and Patrick isn’t gonna wreck the X men in the MCU.
@sfleetucker I think ultimately they’re 100% gonna recast them for an organic MCU version of all those characters. It would wreck the potential for the MCU X-Men if they’d just cast Jackman & Stewart as the MCU versions, not because they’re bad, but because we’ve just already had *a lot* with them, and we should have new takes that can inhabit those roles for a decade.
Here we get the best: some multiversal adventures with them in the meantime, and still potential for a new future
@sfleetucker I agree. It gives us some great X-Men stuff to tide us over until it’s time. Also the ‘97 animated series reboot
