@robfwtx I've had lots of upper GI studies..from barium swallows to motility tests (where you get to swallow a wire with a weight on it. The tests have always been outpatient, even endoscopic were outpatient procedures. Why isn't Medicare covering such a simple procedure?

@robfwtx Yeah. I had an ER visit last summer that even with 2 insurances ended up costing me close to $4k and I'm unemployed so that came from my ever decreasing IRA account. I constantly worry about what procedures, even labwork, will cost me. Hope things work out for you!
