@Alt_Human @WeThePeople How are they going to replace the massive amount of money currently being paid to federal & state governments through sin taxes? What do they start taxing out the wazoo to replace those funds? Increase taxes on alcohol by the same amount they lose from tobacco income? Triple the tax on soda & junk food? Like it or not the burden of taxation would have to be shifted to some other product. Legalize pot nationwide & tax it so much as to make it unaffordable?
@Alt_Human @WeThePeople Peyote and psilocybin are currently legal to possess and use on native lands in my state and in some rituals outside of reservations as well. I smoke and have done so for 50 years now. I'm considerate of others and step far enough away to not affect anyone with my 2nd hand smoke and I don't litter always disposing of my butts properly. If I decide to quit I will do so without the need of big brother forcing me to do so. Adults should be able to make their own decisions.
