When you have a stroke that affects your processing speed, any disruption in your life can throw all of the things you can normally do yourself into disarray.

@MsJudyJetson They probably happened in my sleep because until the TIA I'd never experienced paralysis. Symptoms actually began with narcolepsy, followed by the loss of a large amount of vocabulary (causing me to stammer as I struggled to remember the words I used to know), decreased short term memory, & some ADHD symptoms. Turns out a big part of my middle cerebral artery was/is blocked. Recouped most of my vocabulary but it's slipping again so having a new brain scan soon.
