@jvkmiller Beautiful! When my family 1st moved to the bay area (I wasn't even a year old) from Seattle we lived just a few blocks from Ocean Beach and an even shorter distance from a small amusement park near there. The park has been gone for half a century now but Ocean Beach will always endure and hold a special place in my heart. Truly killer riptides and sneaker waves there so always have to be wary. Water is cold as heck too! Thanks for posting this!
@jvkmiller Thank you!! Was struggling to come up with the name of the place. Playland...had some vicious bumper cars 😄 There also used to be a nude beach just to the north of Ocean Beach...quite a hike down the bluffs to access it though.
@Embers There is a newish National Park at Sutro Baths, it's getting more recognition. Playland was before me, but the legend lives on.
