Are you an Asus laptop owner? I'd like to hear about your experience and pros/cons please!
@ProjectShadow awesome thank you! I'm not super interested in the gaming aspect but I'm really looking for quality for going back to school
@EllyOnTheGo No problem. I didn't think the gaming part would appeal to you, but I've had this and an Asus Chromebook, and both have been solid.
@ProjectShadow I appreciate the insight!
@EllyOnTheGo You're welcome.
@ProjectShadow @EllyOnTheGo Pretty much every windows-installed laptop I've met had some kind weirdness with waking up from sleep, ever since laptops were carved out of rock and the pterodactyls were here. I guess I'm saying I don't hold it against any particular device for having that trouble.
@ProjectShadow @EllyOnTheGo I haven't used one for years (back then they were disappointing), but I've got several friends who swear they like theirs.
@EllyOnTheGo I've had one in the past and liked it.
Check that, I also own one now... an F17.
I love it for what I use it for.
@SECRET_ASIAN_MAN thank you! What do you like about yours?
@EllyOnTheGo screen size, value, power. The graphics performance has been par.
@SECRET_ASIAN_MAN great, thank you!
@EllyOnTheGo
I have one. It's been very reliable. More so, when I did have an issue they were able to solve it and respect my technical background.
@EllyOnTheGo I have one. It's a gaming laptop, but I love it. The only thing that's annoying is that for some reason, on rare occasions if I open it from sleep mode, the screen won't turn on. I have to plug it into the TV via HDMI to get a display and restart it from there. Other than that, I love everything about it.
