Condolences for all who cared about your friend's transgender friend. It's awful that people are convinced to hate by influential people from their hellbent podiums. That is the way the world currently is.
It's sad when good people are so threatened by hateful strangers in the world all around them, to such an extent they can't envision any path to happiness in their life. It's a terrifying time.
