Finished my hat - a lesson in two-handed stranded knitting. Took 3 times to get the tension right. But I learned to do picking (just for knitting, I know purling is going to be harder) and now I feel ambidextrous! Love trying new techniques and opening up my #knitting options. The Pom Pom awaits and will be attached once blocking is finished on this mannequin head (I got it to help me study lighting when I was doing photography).

Pine Tree Hat by Melinda Goodfellow. I must not have gotten it from Ravelry (maybe from Love Knitting?) because it’s not in my library. But here it is there: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/35-pine-tree-hat--baby-child--adult-hat
It has lots of sizes and both straight and rolled brim. I’m going to make a kid-sized one of this with a straight brim next for my daughter and granddaughter to have matching hats!
