Absolutely right. I know first-hand how hard it is to make any money from music these days.
What gets me is the lies the ticketing companies tell about it. It's not to stop scalping, it's the natural outcome of unregulated market capitalism.
Indeed, that article makes a good point in that it's already illegal here to sell tickets for more than 10% over their face value, so selling similar tickets for different prices actually makes it impossible to tell what the face value is 🤷♂️
