It's hard to get cricket here. Lots of amateur teams in the Indian & Pakistani community though. Used to watch games on the weekends in Assiniboine Park in Wi****eg, where it was also hard to get cricket matches to tune in to. πŸ˜‚

LOL! I know that park! My grandma lived in the North River Heights neighbourhood before she and her sister got on in years and moved out to Portage to be closer to my aunt's family. πŸ˜‚

@DyDave

I used to live by there in Tuxedo and later in the Wolever area. Wellington Crescent was a nice walk or ride (locally known as the Granola Belt πŸ˜‚)

@q00w2

When I were a lad going there, alls I remember was that I was very pro the zoo, and completely meh about Winnie the Pooh πŸ˜‚

@DyDave

Yeah, they never shut up about that guy ("Oh, and in case the other 850,000 residents haven't mentioned it yet, Wi****eg was home to the creator of Winnie the blablablahzzzZZZZ")

They have a nice sculpture garden in there, though. πŸ˜‚

Yeah, the stupid bear could go and get stuffed as far as we were concerned. There were far more important things to be experienced. Best. Ice. Cream. Ever:
