Wow, they were on fire for that one! Even early on, Mick knew how to hold the audience in the palm of his hand! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Yeah. Also, how good was Mick Taylor? His time was there best by a factor of about 1 bajillion, I reckon ๐Ÿ˜€

@DyDave
Seriously! His fingers danced and played on the fretboard, and he knew how to grab the listener, too! โค๏ธ

For sure! And he was only, like, 22 or whatever at that gig.

Working out with John Mayall's Bluesbreakers let him develop all that. He's 19 or whatever here:

Oh, man, that's some cool stuff! Woah! I've heard of the Bluesbreakers, but never actually heard them before. Yeah, you can already hear his style developing. And John Mayall's singing blows me away!

@p3R1n01D

The โ€œBeanoโ€ albumโ€™s worth a listen. I often find that Clapton has all the skills but not much feel but here we have him in 65-66 when he was working it all out.

Awesome tone from the 1960 Les Paul into the brand new Marshall JTM combo too. ๐Ÿ˜Š
