#Introduction
I've had wine. Saw a tweet on Twitter and well, here I am.
@damselfly59 In my cellar, yes. Argentine and Californian. I also so have a few rare varieties.
@damselfly59 we're big on Rhone varieties here. Viognier, Roussane, Marsanne, Grenache Blanc, Ugni Blanc, Picpoul Blanc and many more whites.
@DuchessOfPasoRobles
Mmmmmm. We are syrah merlot cabs tempranillo carmenere petit verdot, surrounded by pinot gris viognier chard and reislings.
Applaud your diversity. We are a century behind but working to catch up. Love tasting the earth from different regions
@damselfly59 Your wine region is pretty stellar.
@DuchessOfPasoRobles
Yes very lucky. Hung out in high school with son of one of the original vintners. We used to swig growlers of what are now $1=200 per liter world winning labels. Ruined for cheap wine ever after The industrialists are moving in now so we'll see how that rolls out.
You arent hurting for variety yourself. Assuming a higher elevation or desert country?
@damselfly59 We're on the Cental Coast in Cali, but have 11 AVAs. From coastal to mountains to hills to free range land.
@DuchessOfPasoRobles
We should be friends :)
I rarely find malbec or viognier in other cellars.
I live in the land of Leonetti, while amazing tastes we are still expanding varieties
