@Dreamnghrt Have you set up some filters? You can do so with keywords, or hashtags, so that you can eliminate certain topics. Not everyone uses hashtags but I believe just certain words can be filtered even without hashtags. That way you can avoid seeing them. Also, having a "My friends" column of folks you've followed who tend not to post about politics helps. The "Community firehose" is kind of random. It's up to each of us to make our feed how we like it.

I'm sorry, but are you asking me? Because I have absolutely curated my own experience and I love it. If that is meant for the person from hours ago, I don't know how to find that or help them again. Sadly.
I thought this might be the post you mentioned? Guess not! Trying to help a relative newcomer and encourage them to use filters to avoid unpleasantness.
