So I’m switching my Medicare supplement plan to an advantage to save money every month. But I’m ditching aarp united health care mainly because they support the gop. I called to cancel at the end of November, because I’m not wasting another dime on them. Lady tried to tell me I can’t do that. 😂😂 I said watch me. Don’t bother waiting for that last $177 payment. It’s not happening. On another note….
Tankies are trying to convince boomers that advantage programs are a plot by dems to steal money.
@doctordk
I have to pay $28 a month. But that’s the same I was paying for part D. Now it’s included, along with vision & dental.
I don’t see how I can go wrong. Will reassess next year.
As for that gop thing you mentioned, I’m not sure what to believe. Far right and far left use the same talking points. I’m independent and wary of both.
@DocLaing Thank you for posting this. I want to pass this info on to my mom, she's filing all her retirement and Medicare paperwork and needs to know about this. She definitely won't want to support the AARP either.
@DocLaing AARP really needs to get their act together. Just becuse we're seniors doesn't mean we're all GOPers. In fact, most Baby Boomers are not. We grew up in the 60s. The advantage programs are the GOP's dream come true. They finally get to privatize healthcare. These companies are making a fortune. I'm switching mine, too. I'll get the same (and hopefully better qualty) coverage for a lower premium, namely zero.
