There are some brilliant sitcoms. Hell this article even goes on to mention five hit ones.

Problem is nobody watches television en masse anymore. Short of sporting and live events, the chances of getting anything like 10m viewers is long gone. Most hit shows hovver around 3-5m.

And shows that would have got those figures in the 90s as cult favourites? 100k viewers now if yer lucky.

Some amazing shows like Frayed are buried away on Sky where no-one will see 'em too!

Today: You stick your head into the sun, they're gonna come up behind it and bite off your ass...

Netflix is now telling its own staff to basically accept bigotry or leave.

Other streaming services are available.

Here in the UK, we've entered that terrible part of the year where suddenly there's spiders everywhere and they're all like... "SURPRISE!" as they suddenly drop down in front of your face.

My cat, usually so good at chasing small moving objects, is doing bugger all to help matters.

Today: A truly chilling tale. The remake with Pingu is equally compelling.

Today: In my dreams, you're blowing me some kisses...

Stuff that dreary UK entry. If Norway doesn't win Eurovision there is no justice in the world.

That said, any of the non ballad sludge is fine by me... really enjoying Czech Republic, Serbia, Lithuania, Ukraine and Moldovia's entries, and of course Finland - That Rasmus song has been on heavy rotation all year!

But come on folks... give that wolf a banana already.

As "Mental Health Awareness Week" comes to a close, a reminder that you don't have to have done anything special this week, and next week is just as good a time to talk to someone if you need help as any. As Kylie Minogue once said, it's never too late. Or... as my namesake once put it...

New delivery... the brand new Cherry Red reissue of TOYAH TOYAH TOYAH, now with the legendary ATV documentary on dvd.

Today: As the brilliant Fred Ward has passed away, let's take a moment to celebrate the magnificent Tremors.

New Spın̈al Tap movie? I'm 100% on board for this!

Hope the film leads to a tour. I was lucky enough to see their One Night Only World Tour in W̷i̷m̷b̷l̷e̷d̷o̷n̷ Wembley back in 2009, and it was one of the best gigs I've ever seen!

Today: Barry says yer come out blurry.

What's that? Oh, just us and the wonderful Divina De Campo from Saturday's Hedwig & The Angry Inch show at HOME Mcr. Meet and greets are such a weird thing, but of all the ones I've done, Divina's was one of the most genuine and rewarding.

Today... I've got a hankering for sausages, so...

@catmachine I can relate to all of this so very much... except the dying bit. I've never died my hair... mostly cos of a sensitive scalp, fine hair and a fear of it falling out. 😁

Four years ago today, and the day I chose to go to see David Bowie Is at Brooklyn Museum just happened to be the same day the late, great Mick Rock was announced as doing a talk that evening.

We exchanged smiles in the cafe area earlier that day... and then that evening I sat next to Norman Reedus without realising it til he got up and left. 😁

Watched the first two episodes of The Pentaverate as a break from some work I'm doing.

Lots of talent involved... Still can't help but feel it needed a second writer to tone down Myers excess Myersisms. He's a genius but needs focus. Nice ideas but falls short, methinks.

As I had a marmalade sandwich earlier, today I'm going to highlight Paddington 2. The first film is also a gem, but I look like what would happen if you combined these two characters in a transporter accident like Tuvix.

Also, I've been directed by the film's director, once upon a long ago.

Very happy about Ncuti Gatwa's casting BTW. They're gonna be brilliant.
