Went to see the magnificent Grace Petrie last night. After cancelling her previous two shows due to a throat problem, Grace gave 110% last night but had to cut the show short as her voice was failing. Pretty much the entire crowd showed her so much love and support and made it clear it was OK for her to stop, rest up and come see us again sometime. What a legend for trying so damn hard! Genuinely don't understand the current trend for "remixing" old pop hits to sound almost identical yet simultaneously lifeless and robotic, and somehow make them stream bucketloads. First it was Tina & Whitney, then Boney M. Now it's Kylie & Madonna on the same day! Ugh!
