This wouldn't be necessary at all IF Republicans had *convicted* our former guy - especially after his 2nd IMPEACHMENT. I suppose we can also thank McConnell 
@Dedicated_to_Inspire_etc8 Jim Crow McConnell and his fascist cohorts have an agenda to reshape AmeriKKKa into a 1% White Christian Male authoritarian ruled nation. He wasn't going to allow his biggest stooge to be impeached and removed. For Jim Crow it's all about seating unqualified federal judges who'll take orders and tax breaks for the 1% because he couldn't be wealthy without his donors.
