I had today's word count in the bag last night. Just adding on now but no pressure.

@nrodovsky No, he is coerced and later it's completely out of his control.

All you need to know to get this is that my story is about a man who keeps getting slapped into next week, literally.

Its too bad Y: The Last Man on Hulu only made it 10 episodes. There was a whole long series with lots more story. I guess no one was in the mood for another post apocalyptic series about a pandemic. Maybe they waited too long to come out with this. Too bad, it was really good.

Also, I like how on CoSo the post button has an exclamation point, so it's 'Post!'

I went down and banged out another couple hundred words, trying to push the story to some kind of backstretch before the homestretch. Last few years I've been doing sort of 'light' sci-fi, mostly time travel. I usually plan my stories to some extent but this has been mostly a pantsing adventure. 37, 117ish.

@NaomiSkarzinski Thanks, I was very mad at myself but I did not pass it to my wife or father so I'm grateful for that

@stevejetcity Thanks. I guess I need to add that I'm better now, been better since last week. I think we can edit on here? 🤔

@stevejetcity I live in Maryland but I traveled to Massachusetts and I got it from my friend who lives up there.

I had Covid after going maskless around an old friend who turned out to be Covid positive. I couldn't believe that letting my guard down in Nov of 2022 would lead to that. I'm vaxxed and symptoms were mild but I really can't imagine a time I will ever feel safe without masking indoors. twitter.com/AbbyMachines/statu

Hey, looks like we're back up. I think I'm about 90 percent sure this is going to be my new Twitter substitute. I will probably keep that Twitter acct open for and but otherwise I will just have to see where those folks go. I will certainly lose some people but I don't think all friendships are meant to last.

Are you noticing glitches, errors, or slowness? It's 100% due to our sudden, utterly inexplicable rise in popularity. We have no idea why. It is a mystery, wrapped in a riddle, ensconced in an enigma, mired in a malevolent billionaire's hubris.

genius moves, eh 🙄 elon?
"With most of Twitter’s employees gone, most of its know-how to prevent outages and failures during high-traffic events is also gone, as is most of its know-what is necessary to maintain and enhance computing architecture, most of its know-where to guard against cyberattacks, and most of its know-why hate speech (and other awful stuff advertisers want to avoid) is getting through its filters and what to do about it."

I'm at 33, 909 words in my novel, I Could Stand Here All Day. I have been going day to day with no real solid plan but I think I've hit on some good riffs. I finish each day by going over the days words and tacking on words. That's easily 300 to 500 more, every day.

Ravens win!!!! This is the only pic I could muster up. Ignore the score!
