Time for the Cherry Platy fry update. Some are bravely exploring the tank. The full grown ones don't seem to notice. Keep swimming little fishies. This pic is full zoom, the adult is at the same zoom for scale.

This didn't take long, one week later and I have Cherry Platy fish fry in the tank. (Small orange dots near the top of the photo)

In other fish tank news, one of my oldest fish, the Rainbow Shark, went belly-up after about 5 or 6 years. I can finally do some more interesting things with the larger tank. For the last few years I've not been able to stock any other fish in it, except for some catfish, because the shark would harass them all. Now I can build a more community tank, starting with some platys, Blue Wag & Cherry.

The Betta is gone. Time to do something new, not exactly sure what it will be yet. For certain a new substrate as there a few plants I want to try. The rest depends on what kinds of fish are in stock that can go in a tank this size. There are options, another Betta, small Rasboras, Endlers, White Cloud minnows, shrimp, maybe a Ram or a Gourami.

The full playlist from The Indie Brunch, earlier this morning on New Tec Radio. Saturday we do it all over again.

The new EP from The Hello Darlins is a delightful listen. Some ballads, country-rock (Do It Up Right & Broken Heart), even a touch of soul on Better Days. Check it out & find them on tour (in Canada) with Matt Andersen.
