@ChippySuave I've been to Auburn many times. I used to go the to Courthouse (or maybe its a city hall) and fix computers. One of my many regular stops. Nice town, I wished I had more time to explore back then.
@lizmonster yes, very true. I like the idea though. I have scenes that my mind runs through that happen further in the storyline, and it makes it hard to concentrate on the point I am to write. I decided that I should just write the part I can't get out of my head vs grind through it linearly. I suppose this is similar to your idea in a way.
@lizmonster interesting idea. In what ways does this help you? Do you think this is universal across genre?
Like, to me it would make sense for a mystery or suspense, but my story isn't so much about the ending as it is the journey, so I feel like knowing the ending would constrain me to arrive at that point.
@wideeyedcurious Visual. Sometimes words come to me, but mostly things play out like a movie, and I have to keep pausing to catch up with it.
@cozmikstar108 only when the subject matter is zombies though. lol
When I write, its something takes over. Like a demon whispering in my ear, or a parasite burrowing into my brain and controlling my fingers. I dont know where the words come from, and I dont know how the story will end, I just wish whatever possessed me had better grammar and typing skills.

Today was a snow day! I stayed home and made my wife @EarthlingLeah lunch, a simple salad with buffalo chickpeas and mushrooms. So good, but I forgot that buffalo sauce is spicy, too much so for Leah, who complimented the meal by saying it was "Technically edible" 🤣
@SkycladFox good luck and have fun!
@DevonEllington I try to write every day during the winter. During the warm months I work so much that its unrealistic to think I can manage any writing, so for those months I think about writing. I hope it comes back to me easily this winter.
@RiekaWrites the world building gives a solid foundation, so even with a plan that crumbles you still have some idea how to keep going.
@RiekaWrites thats exciting, world building is one of my favorite things to think about.
@DevonEllington Wow, thats a good word count. Thats like, the best writing day I have ever had... but better.
What are you writing today? Are you excited about your writing?

@TheStorySmith Hi! 👋
@awrene I can't imagine what you're trying to experience 😂
It sounds totally demented, and I'm on board.
I have a Podcast with my wife where we talk about zombie books, movies and tv shows. I'm also writing a novel based in a zombie apocalypse.
