Over the years friends have given me various guitar parts they didn't need any more but thought I might be able to use. I finally drilled and plugged this guitar neck today. You can see how off-center the original holes are; doesn't align with the new project's body. 5mm bit, 3/16" maple dowel, Titebond II...gonna leave it for a week, then chisel off the ends & smooth. So scared, honestly.

Today I achieved the impossible: A drawstring from a hoodie that came out in the wash was successfully re-inserted into the hoodie and full hood squish functionality has been restored. Pix, to prove it happened.

I love that Nike is offering the space hippie series by reusing scraps and recycled materials, but I feel like I one-upped them by buying a pair used

Wondered why these spendy pickups didn’t sound good, but swapping in new pots and a switch solved the mystery. Rewired in a non-fancy configuration and it sounds so much better!
