Cats tend to do their own thing and don't always let on that they don't feel well. Key is knowing what is normal for *your* cat, that way you notice changes.

As far as "just doing people", people often view all caps as yelling. I know you are concerned about your cat right now, but the yelling seems to be a constant state. Perhaps you can't hear what it sounds like to us... :)
