So freaking cold here the porch is a sheet of ice. We’ve been salting but it’s not helping much.
@cjcrew the problem here is it melts the ice during the day which refreezes at night. Some salt does get thrown down at night.
@Cryspeg yeah it usually needs a repeating here as well.

@KazzyH not tried sand, does it work well? I love the cold. So much better than the heat.
We find it helpful. Not a fan of high heat but wouldnt mind 78 and not humid 😁
@KazzyH 68 is about the peak for me. Unfortunately here we have two seasons: omg I’m frozen and omg I’m cooking lol
@Cryspeg Salt won’t work after the temps drop below a certain level, but I still use it because it does give you more traction when carefully walking over it.
