We took a trip back to MN to say a last goodbye to a sister in law and to visit family. Our dog hadn't been himself for a little while but when I took him to the vet, which was the same vet when he was just a puppy in our old neighborhood, it was determined that we should have him put down... Cancers and heart and lung troubles..

The trip was under a deep dark cloud after that and the drive home was miserable.

@CriticalCupcake Set up camp at Diamond Lake in southern Oregon, w/our trailer and went to bed around 1030. Everything had been clear. 130a.m. rolls around and there's a shouting all over and a sheriff is pounding on our door saying you have 30 minutes to evacuate the fire is just over the ridge! Needless to say, that was a stunning and scary night. We got out with 10 minutes to spare before they said they'd enforce leave your trailer and drive out NOW. It was intense and impactful.
