The psychological pressure, the cognitive dissonance, the charged reactions, the lashing out… I suppose it’s to be expected in a traumatized zeitgeist.

We as a group are experiencing a cultural CPTSD moment collectively. That shit makes people do, think, and feel things in drastically irrational ways. Ways completely counter to their realities or truest selves.

I’ve gotten pretty okay at that thing where you carry a gross dish towel from the sink to the wash by slowly turning it in your hand as you walk so it doesn’t drip on your foot.

That’s now I’m going to approach news and politics for a while. Just let it all drip back onto itself until I can get it all cleaned out and have a reasonable tool again.

The dripping is gross and makes me slip and gives me more work to do.
