: I heard from an acquaintance today, following a few weeks of radio silence. She was outraged at the very idea that the Allies committed any war crimes at all during WW2. Well, she spoke with her uncle, a near-centurion who served in Korea, and he told her that they happened... and even added some that were done by the US in Korea, not all of which ever got much, if any press.

Adriana is about my age, not quite a year older. She also did a delve on her own and was taken aback.

War is hell.

@thedisasterautist Most war crimes are small unit level, often of surrendering troops or against vulnerable civilians, but the big US one in Korea was the No Gun Ri massacre.
