@Coctaanatis @Chiefb2 He can't prove his father was a resident for ten years before his birth (his father could have come as a child and not been legal either is the argument). Without his father's birth certificate from the US, he is probably screwed after all this time.

(You do understand it is his father's citizenship he needs to prove? If his father was born in NY, it should not be this hard. He is repeating what he was told.)
