@CoSoTips I much prefer the dark theme, but I totally understand wanting a choice.
I don't mind a dark option, but it's not always useful. Forcing everyone to use dark theme all the time is not helpful: providing options is. I was always a little disappointed that J had deleted our inbuilt lite theme.
That said, I can implement some level of lite theme when I like, but I'm forced to use other ppls work. I don't want full bright white, & super-high contrast washes out colors I find useful, so I'm forced to build my own based on Mastodon's lite theme.
@CoSoTips I was confused because I didn't have to look for the option to make it dark as usual.
@CoSoTips I really hope that when the #twitugee migration & attendant panics are resolved, coding for options that involve choice of background & text coloursis prioritized as an #EDI (particularly Inclusion) reason.
