"Why do I have to pay to send DM's?"
There are several features that require a Pro account here because those features require extra bandwidth and storage ($$$). Direct messaging is one of them.

Check my understanding: Pro accounts can initiate a DM, but all accounts can receive them. (Pro can send DM to anyone?) Similarly, Pro can initiate a Group, or a group call, but all accounts can then participate once they’re set up.
Correct me if I’m wrong!
