Do people actually log in to services like YouTube? Why?
@ToruOkada I do. I even pay them for no ads. It’s my equivalent of cable TV (which I’ve not had in a really long time.
@MookyTroubadour I don't have a TV for the past ... 15 years. Nothing I miss out on, I feel. I am mainly surprised that people would give companies like Google, Apple, etc. more information about themselves than absolutely necessary.
@ToruOkada @MookyTroubadour I've carefully curated mine. 3rd party app to clean up the interface. Mostly YouTuber channels for photography, retro gaming, emulation, voice-over. Good resource for film and production tutorials and gaming/film essays/retrospectives. I do not follow any big channels, go straight to my subscriptions, blissfully ignorant of anything else.
