Installing Linux Mint (dual boot). 💚🤘

Couldn't have picked a slower USB to use for the ISO. 🙃

I also have an Anbernic retro gaming handheld arriving tommorow, and there's a few custom OS I want to try, but one is ext4.

I love tinkering: it keeps me sane. 🤪

@Clavius_42 Do let us know your experience with Mint. I've got a Mint box I'm slowly tinkering with on my good brain days, and I've been pleased so far.

@AskTheDevil I used Ubuntu then Mint heavily some years ago; it's like old pair of shoes: it's lightweight, reliable, unintrusive, and it works right out of the box. Apparently older Windows games work much better on Linux than with Win 11. Some decent opensource alternatives to paid software. I think the Cinnamon desktop and general design looks a lot better than Windows, too.

@Clavius_42 I watch a housemate constantly cuss themselves into an apoplexy trying to get games to run properly on Linux. Too rich for my blood. I have a windows box that I basically use instead of having a console.

@Clavius_42 I normally go with Debian installs, but I'm old and lazy and tired now. ; )
