I know this is small beans in the grand scheme of things in this world seemingly on fire every other day, but ...

I can't stand that Amazon is forcing users off the Comixology app. They already ruined the digital comic purchasing process, and hobbled the Comixology app, with their acquisition of that platform. Now we'll *have* to use Kindle, and it's just not good for this task.

@brainwise I typically protest by no longer using things they enshittify.

@AskTheDevil I had already stopped purchasing any new digital comics post-acquisition. Now I guess I'll stop reading my digital comics library as of next month.

@brainwise Well, whatever you do, don't go to a giant illegal library of most comics that have ever been published, on something like readcomiconline dot to, or the internet archive.

Especially since you could conceivably just download a bunch of comic bookss to a hard drive in your house.

There. I said not to do it, so I am officially a good influence.

@AskTheDevil I would never! (Well, not every day, anyway).

@brainwise @AskTheDevil I was using DC++ comic hubs back in the day. Happy times.

We've been stuck with having to use Kindle for a few years in the UK. Not fit for purpose.
