My favourite #scifi shows, in maybe a particular order 😄:
Babylon 5
Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy (Radio)
Red Dwarf
Star Trek (all eras)
Stargate SG1 (indeed)
Farscape
Doctor Who (esp 4th, 7th, 10th, 13th)
Battlestar Galactica (both)
Some newer/ongoing sci-fi:
The Expanse
Foundation
For All Mankind
Blasphemous confession:
I've never thought much of Firefly.
I could easily go on. 😄
@LiseL You spotted the deliberate mistake! 😁 Yes, I enjoyed Caprica too. Currently re-watching BSG reboot along with SeaQuest, Outer Limits and juggling three Twilight Zones; will likely move on to Caprica after BSG. Saw Blood and Chrome, but can't remember a lot about it. Any fave sci-fi of yours I haven't mentioned?
@LiseL I feel sorry for anyone trying to write satire/surreal in this current reality.
The Russel T Davies/ David Tennant era of Doctor Who was solid. I'm stoked to see RTD returning as show runner.
Thumbs up for Black Mirror - the stronger of the relatively recent 'anthology' shows; dare I say, more Twilight Zone than Twilight Zone.
2AM - Morpheus calls 😌 Nice to be on a platform where people interact!
Until next time, nos da (good night)
@Clavius_42 I think I went to sleep before you did - on this earlier side of the pond too! I look forward to your future posts. And if you happen upon a Picard thread/convo in this space, do count me in. It's getting passionately mixed reviews in my family...🤷
@LiseL Shall do! Picard is getting mixed reviews in mine too. TNG cast reunion for season three to get excited about.
@Clavius_42 You're on a much higher sci fi level than I am! I'm really mostly a Trek fanatic who also adored BSG and the David Tennant Dr. Who's I've seen. But I really need to give other, newer sci fi a chance, so I've taken careful note of your list. I did enjoy Black Mirror. Curious you should mention the Twilight Zone because I'd just decided to started watching them again. I wonder if they'll pack the same punch now that the real world is stranger than anything we could make up...
