I have discovered that watching YouTube on my Mac has an ad blocker. I never remembered that, but I Ike it.

I love it, bought it for work several years ago. Now just for home.
I have been hesitant to spend the money. I need a personal laptop.

I justified it for work at the time. And did indeed use it for a few years for that. But I am glad now I did.
My previous laptop, not a Mac, had been rebuilt a few times.
And I have ad blockers on my iPhone and iPad too, so…a lot cleaner!
