@LnzyHou @CinnamonGirlE ~ That what my Dad said - not for sissies, might have used anotherword.(lived to 96...I was a young child from a second wife - don't judge me 🤣😅😂☠️). I was the last one that spent quality time with him and he told me to "tough it out" I don't believe in that, he was sorry he skipped treatment so take all the "things". I too have lots of damage. I hope it helps..the pain is REAL. Big gentle hugs 😘💕💕💕💕
Thanks Sweetheart

No, I said the same thing last week. Because it isn't.
I suppose that's good news in one sense. Steroids are both wonder drugs and laden with SE's as you know. Continue the very best self-care. You've got this. One of the toughest and best ladies I know!
Doc said great success with steroids in short term. Felt PT & core strengthening could do the trick.
If not, will refer me to spine expert in her practice.
@LnzyHou
Awesome. Core strengthening is what I am working on right now. Having it helps everything. You will get there. I am still working on it, lol.
Steroids in short doses are miracle drugs. It's going to be better.
Thanks. Not crazy about it but gonna try. Next stop injections in the spine.
@LnzyHou
We did those in the OR sometimes with great success for some.
But I hope you don't have to even go there.
@CinnamonGirlE
Orthopedic doc just called me.
No catastrophic illness or damage revealed MRI. Significantly more arthritis in spine than shown on X-rays. Says predictable for woman my age who was actively involved in tough sports, skiing, skating, snowshoeing, snowmobiling etc. Add in car accidents, falls, yada yada
Wants me to start course of oral steroids, continue PT with traction, elect stim, core strengthening, etc. lidocaine patches, muscle relaxants
Getting old not for sissies.
