Okay, everybody give me a hand. What is your favorite thing to do when you are sad to lift you up? What helps blast away the melancholy when it hits you?
Help cheer me up ❣️

@CinnamonGirlE
Animals or babies or baby animals - bonus points if they areb in costumes...releases oxytocin

@damselfly59
I have a few littles in my future. It ALWAYS helps. Impossible to feel bad around them.

@CinnamonGirlE @damselfly59
If I am ever down, hanging out with my grandkids will fix it in a minute. They have a German shepherd named Stella but she follows me everywhere and will not leave me alone ever so she drives me crazy.

@Idissent @damselfly59
I will be getting them later today, so that will help. 😉😊

@CinnamonGirlE @damselfly59
Nice, I'm really happy to hear that. For me personally it helps more than anything to be around these 2 beautiful little girls who love me no matter what

@Idissent @damselfly59
That really is a special love. One that nothing else in the world is like.

@CinnamonGirlE @damselfly59
No, I never knew I could love like this until they arrived. My oldest is 18 and lives in Texas with her wife so I don't get to see her very often but the younger ones know they will see me on the weekends and I will be doing something with them regardless of what that might be

@Idissent @damselfly59
My two oldest are older teens as well. Living their best life the way it should be. I don't see them nearly as often anymore since they are this age, even though they are close by. But the littles are more frequent. Lapping up every last second of this time, because it will be on to their next phase soon, as it should be.

@CinnamonGirlE
My youngest is 5 and I tell her that there will come a time when she doesn't want to be with me as much as she does now and she will not hear that. No, Oma I will be with you every day! I just chuckle and hug her again

@Idissent
I still see the older ones and it is special. It's just a special bond for all of us. And I am so grateful for that. I loved my grandparents, and even once grown, they still helped shape me in positive ways. I hope I have done the same for mine. And what they have done for me is immeasurable.

@CinnamonGirlE
I never had a chance to get to know mine. Both of my mom's parents had already passed and my dad's passed by the time I was about 8 so I never had the privilege

@Idissent
That makes the bond with your grands even more special them. You have a chance to give them something fate denied you. For all of you now ♥️

@CinnamonGirlE
And I am taking full advantage of it. I couldn't love 3 people more if I wanted to. I hope you're feeling a little better and I love having these conversations with you.

@Idissent
And me you 🥰
I do feel a little better. 😌

@CinnamonGirlE
It's funny but this helps. I've never been on a social media site that made me feel better but here we are. I'm scared for my girls, I can't accept that they are losing their rights or that their mother or father don't care. It's so mind blowing to me. How do you say that you love your kids but vote against them? My oldest ones marriage could become illegal if they get their way. How are they okay with that?

@Idissent
I love CoSo. A safe place with good people who are real. Not like any other site, ever.

I say the same of republican women. Really, you don't want to vote for yourself? And yes, your dtrs, grands, nieces, sisters, friends?

And for anyone who wants to love who they want to love? How can you do that? You really wants to worry about who is loving who in this horrible world? We should be celebrating every time that happens!

@CinnamonGirlE
Right? How anyone doesn't understand that love is love is crazy to me
