@peeppeepcircus
I watched it yesterday. Surprisingly good. 🎥
@peeppeepcircus
I found it by chance, and was pleasantly surprised.
@CinnamonGirlE I ran into someone who had also just seen it, loved it, we talked about how it was based on some facts instead of pure fantasy, then I watched it again and loved it even more!
@peeppeepcircus @CinnamonGirlE I'll be watching it very soon. And I just started watching "Homecoming", which also stars Julia Roberts.
@peeppeepcircus @CinnamonGirlE I just watched "Leave the World Behind". I agree, it was very good. Not "just another apocalypse story". Lots of plot twists, and showed people dealing with severe stress in different ways.
Oh, and I never had any intention of buying a Tesla anyway.
SPOILER ALERT
🚨
I keep thinking about it, how the characters reacted to each surprise event. At the end of the day, those two families were decent people who would take care of each other in an emergency, they were fortunate to have found each even if they got off on the wrong foot.
@InUnfunky ⬆️ and I had been thinking about trust
All of the characters were flawed; that was the point. Not without some "redeeming value," though -- even (insert name here).
NO SPOILERS! 😎 😀
@InUnfunky 💯
It’s as if that was the point, to reveal the story by how each character reacted to events.
@peeppeepcircus @CinnamonGirlE I just saw the news that 2 million Teslas have been recalled to fix an autopilot fault. Coincidence?
@CinnamonGirlE i finished it today. it’s really staying with me.
